Note: When we are rebuilding your battery, if your circuit board is found to be defective, we will contact you. At that time we will provide you with the option of sending us another battery or we can refund you for the rebuild service. The old cells are removed and recycled prior to circuit board testing and cannot be shipped back to you.

Orders containing lithium batteries will ship by ground only regardless of the shipping method chosen.

Mark's BA2800T EGO® 56V 5.0Ah Rebuild

When my well used EGO 5ah battery went kaput, I bought a new one, but struggled with the notion of disposing of the old one. After checking several local sources for a rebuild without success, I found MTO online. After reading some reviews, I chose to send off my tired battery for a chance at a new life. I am so happy that I did. I now have a second, like new battery to run my EGO tools, spent less than purchasing a new one, and feel really good about the carbon footprint aspect of my choice to rebuild rather than discard. The MTO process was clearly communicated by them, and had my battery back in good time to match the Ozarks grass growing season. I will use MTO again, whenever the next opportunity arises.

Superior to new

I have been using two EGO 5Ah batteries that were rebuilt by MTO Battery back in 2021. They have by far outlasted my original batteries from EGO and are still going strong. MTO Battery is a great company with amazing customer service.

BA2800T

MTO rebuilt my EGO BA2800T battery in December and I am impressed. The battery has worked like it did from new and I saved a few bucks in the process. Here in California, I have to use electric outdoor equipment for my lawn care. With the EGO tools and MTO's batteries, I should be good to go for a while now.
