Charging Recommendations

1. Always ensure that the battery is not hot and is at room temperature before charging.

2. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger. Do not store the battery on the charger for extended periods of time. Please note that storing a battery in a charger that is not plugged into the wall, can potentially cause the battery to drain back into the charger. This was more common with older chargers and we have also noted it in some newer chargers.

3. It is recommended to not store the battery on the device when not in use. Storing the battery separately removes the possibility of the device slowly draining the battery.

4. If you have not used the battery for 2-3 months, we would recommend recharging the battery and if possible, use them. This helps maintain their health.

5. Lastly, be sure to store your battery in a dry environment. If possible, avoid temperatures below freezing and above 110F to maximize battery life.

Snap-on batteries

Batteries died for my old but still great shape Snap-on drill. I have some accessory lights that also function with the same batteries. Snap-on seems to have a replacement (if still available) for more than I can buy a new drill and some available on e-bay but of unknown functionality so searched and found MTO. Sent batteries off, returned working like new. Extremely happy! Thanks MTO!

Battery Rebuilt

I recently had my Snap-On battery rebuilt. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the battery back, and it was fully charged. I have used it for a few jobs, and it appears to be working well.

Brought my impact and drill back to life.

I have two old Snap-on tools from 2013 that had basically become useless due to their batteries either not working at all or only holding charge for a short amount of time. These batteries are not available to purchase, Snap-on or knock-off, and I could not find any adapters. This service has left me with two fully functioning batteries, and I could not be happier. $102 is significantly cheaper than replacing the tools with newer models.

My Snap On 3/8 Cordless Works Again

Send out four batteries that where bad to get rebuild. All four batteries work. Time will tell if the batteries that where used are of good quality but for now, my tool works again, and I didn't have to spend $500 dollars on brand new tools when I know these still work.
