Charging Recommendations
Always ensure that charging is done while you are present, on non-flammable impermeable surface such as concrete or steel, with adequate ventilation, and with proper fire extinguishing equipment nearby.
1. Always ensure that the battery is not hot and is at room temperature before charging.
2. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger. Do not store the battery on the charger for extended periods of time. Please note that storing a battery in a charger that is not plugged into the wall, can potentially cause the battery to drain back into the charger. This was more common with older chargers and we have also noted it in some newer chargers.
3. It is recommended to not store the battery on the device when not in use. Storing the battery separately removes the possibility of the device slowly draining the battery.
4. If you have not used the battery for 2-3 months, we would recommend recharging the battery and if possible, use them. This helps maintain their health.
5. Lastly, be sure to store your battery in a dry environment. If possible, avoid temperatures below freezing and above 110F to maximize battery life.

Get one set (2 Batteries) of DKG3-16197-001 iBot 67V battery packs rebuilt. You need to send us your batteries to be rebuilt. This process replaces ALL of the cells inside with new ones. Circuit boards, cases, harnesses, etc. are reused and are not repaired or replaced. Note: Not all battery rebuilding companies are created equal and neither are the materials. Please do your research before choosing to do business with a company. Some are fly-by-night operations that are working out of their homes that could disappear when you need service. Our rebuilt iBot batteries were used by a past US president. We are fully insured and well-vetted within the battery industry. The DKG3-16197-001 iBot batteries are no longer available to be purchased new so you must pick and choose who you will trust them with.
