Charging Recommendations

1. Always ensure that the battery is not hot and is at room temperature before charging.

2. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger. Do not store the battery on the charger for extended periods of time. Please note that storing a battery in a charger that is not plugged into the wall, can potentially cause the battery to drain back into the charger. This was more common with older chargers and we have also noted it in some newer chargers.

3. It is recommended to not store the battery on the device when not in use. Storing the battery separately removes the possibility of the device slowly draining the battery. 

4. If you have not used the battery for 2-3 months, we would recommend recharging the battery and if possible, use them. This helps maintain their health.

5. Lastly, be sure to store your battery in a dry environment. If possible, avoid temperatures below freezing and above 110F to maximize battery life.

Rebuilt Snap On battery

I called MTO battery and spoke to a wonderful gentleman who explained how their battery process works. I was excited to hear how my old snap on battery was going to get rebuilt and would be BETTER then it was new, since these batteries are not available anymore through snap on. The price was very good and I received my battery within two weeks. It worked perfect in my scanner! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MTO battery to anyone who needs a battery rebuilt. Thank you MTO! Works better than new

MTO did a great job rebuilding my old Modis battery that would no longer hold a charge. It had been previously rebuilt 10 years ago by another company that is no longer in business. I was a little worried that because it had been rebuilt previously, it might not be able to be rebuilt.
My rebuilt battery was rebuilt and returned in about 10 days turn around. The outer battery case appearance does no show any damage. Very good care and craftsmanship is apparent in this rebuild. Battery holds a charge for a very long time, better than when battery was new. Very satisfied
