Esta unidad de alquiler se conecta directamente a su batería de litio SEGWAY® PN#20967-00001 de 73,6 V e incluye su propia fuente de alimentación. Este dispositivo está diseñado específicamente para que las baterías de litio sobredescargadas alcancen un voltaje que el cargador Segway pueda reconocer de nuevo, si la batería es viable. Si sus baterías tienen entre 3 y 4 años o menos, esta máquina probablemente sea la adecuada para usted. ¿No está seguro de la antigüedad de sus baterías? Haga clic aquí para saber dónde comprobarlo. Roll the dice

I rented this device twice because I had 4 batteries to recondition. The first time I was able to recover 2 batteries and the second time I was able to recover one more. For my out-of-pocket expenses I made out very well getting three out of the four working again. You just need to be realistic with your expectations and understand you are trying to bring back a battery that has been abused by neglect.

Charge your darn batteries

I was an idiot and left my Segway sit without charging it for nearly 6mo. I rented this little gem and after about 30min my Segway was charging my overdischarged battery again and I am now back in business. It's not a cheap rental but you can save buying a new battery if it works.

MTO people are the Best

Simple to use and effective. I bought a used X2 SE and batteries were left unplugged for at least two years. It took two cycles for each of the batteries before they would charge. Please note that at the end of each cycle the unit showed a red light for failure. There is a notation to put the battery in after each attempt to see if it will charge on the Segway. Even though the reconditioner showed red the batteries started to charge in the Segway. Home Run!!

Partial Success

I had to red lights on my Segway after we left the machine off charge for about 6 months by accident. We rented this device from MTO and had limited success. We were able to recover one battery but the other was still non-functional. While I was somewhat disappointed I must say the rental fee more than paid for itself since I only needed to get one battery repaired. I knew it was a gamble going into it and I came out ahead. Better than my last trip to Atlantic City :)
